Mai Tai and Dixie

Mai Tai is the meezer and Dixie is the tuxedo. You can see Dixie is very afraid.
I'm getting them Monday afternoon.
It would be nice if Mai Tai's sight impairment can be easily diagnosed w/a checkup. I'm being told she's blind as a bat.
Dixie acts as her eyes.
This, I have a feeling, is gonna be a heartpuller.
And I don't think I have the hard part in this. I adore fostering the kitties and helping them return to being adored pets.
The 2 woman that went to do the evaluation had the tough job (they took the photos). These cats were fed and litterbox cleaned, but had not had any loving/human contact for a year and it is showing I understand with Dixie. Mai Tai isn't afraid just nervous. These 2 woman were truly upset and then the looked around the apartment and saw the wonderful things their deceased owner had for them - good quality cat trees and toys, nice cat beds, etc. I think their hearts were broken for what was and what these cats lost in their lives.
I get to help return them to being loved kitties....I get lucky cause I don't see what they are coming from.

 

They are beautiful! It's so wonderful that you do this. I'm sure they will get great care and start feeling less afraid / nervous.
