Well the last show I just went to, okay results. Well okay not so good, I hate not having any dogs to show this time around really. Venom took only a 2nd on Sat so I was deeply disappointed, you get used to the dog taking a first all the time and the time you need it (need 2 first to CH with 103points) you actually only get the 2nd. Then sunday he was back in the groove getting his usual 1st, pretty happy about, just didn't help much just an inch away and needs 2 more points for his titled. I don't want to sound like a sore loser, just fustrated over it. Also because Val came in heat a couple weeks ago and this bitch always does this, this will now be the 4th show she has missed because of this and one because of surgery, she isn't even halfway to her titled yet because she's always finding ways to miss shows. A good group of her siblings, half siblings and other relatives were there though. All did good her neice taking a 2nd on sat and 3rd sun, half sis 2nd on sat, then from a father/daughter breeding her other half brother taking 3rd on sat the judge said he was scoring in the 90s BUT he wasn't conditioned at all, he was so soft so he only took the 3rd and would have been 1st had he been in shape, his littermate sister took the 1st for the females class (very toned), but too bad they didn't stay for sunday because I'm sure they would have done well again. Another half brother of hers also took 3rd sat. Yet another half sister (sister to the dam of the winning littermates) took a 2nd or 3rd, I can't remember it was only on sunday and I was surprised because she usually gets 1st at least 1 day but again she was soft too. i don't think I forgot anyone.

Here is just a couple weight pull pics. Santana's uncle doing his thing, he didn't place at all, he has some very hard competition and got knocked out of even the 3rd place by 3 pro trained dogs who had been worked and conditioned where he hadn't been.

This is also a moderately hard track as its tight and takes more force to move it and how the incline is set I also noticed it was so damn slippery the dogs were slipping a lot more then usual and Chevy only pulled like 4,000 which isn't much for him, some tracks are fairly easy, some are harder like this one and the breaks didn't work so all the dogs got screwed, then there are really hard ones. I was talking with his owner because the next show he's probably gonna pull at will be the same competition if not more and commenting on how hard that track is, like one of the hardest tracks out there, so not sure if he will do anything. He placed there before but maybe needs more work to get it, its possible but he's gonna need some real hard work.

This is also Venom's neice her first time in competition, she did really good. Didn't place anything, was fouled out. With a little more experience, work and conditioning she'll be right up there with the best of them. She needs to learn to pull straight ahead as well instead of to the side and all over the track, once she went off and touched the owner that was one of the fouls.

Santana's sire, well he wasn't there so I was dissapointed but his littermate sister was and I only saw her in sat competition (she took 2nd) I didn't make it to the weight pull before the ACE class was over sun because weight pull went so fast so I have no idea how she did.

I find that she raelly likes to sleep on laundry, loves the stuff.

But I thought this pic was funny, anybody else dog do this fall asleep while sitting up!!!! I was sitting at the pc when I noticed and snapped the shot.

Val's neice about to enter the ring.

Val's brother, didn't place either day. Hard for with a permanent injury he has to his leg. A judge once before said she would take 10 points off for this, so once you add on even a couple more slight faults your down and out.

Chevy in 5 and over conformation, well you can guess he didnt place.

wow they all look great I want a spring pole lol.. save my trees ...Mystical loves playing pull but I am confused about some things and wasn't sure if you can enter a dog without papers into the pull tournament?
My daughter wanted to enter mystical into jr pull tournaments. But I told her she would have to keep working with mystical until I could find out more. She ( Mystical ) is very vocal meaning she barks she isn't dog agressive but this is how she speaks when she wants something like she wants another dog to play with her she will bow and bark. People hear this loudness and assume she agressive.
So we are working on her barking right now.

They need to be ADBA regstered to enter into conformation or weight pull competition. But you should be able to do IWPA pulls, you can enter unregistered dogs and even mixed breeds.

ADBA is the American Dog Breeders Association. Mine are ADBA/AADR, from what you said your dog isn't registered so you can't compete without them being registered. Which makes a lot of sense when you think about it. If anyone could take any dog it'd be pointless to have the shows. But there are also fun shows that you can attend.

IWPA is International Weight Pull Association. You should be able to pull there is you want, they allow altered and mixed breeds and dogs without paper/registration.

Thanks GinaH! I didn't know you were still hanging around hows everything going.

Here is some Lacey for you Max. I had her there for a Jr Handler.

Wow Max you really like her that much! She is only 28lbs, the smallest dog I have but the biggest trouble. She is such a handful, but well worth it she's a big baby, like most of them, but she loves to lay on your feet a lot. She's a favorite, I think its because of her size. She is smaller then the others and always trying to rub and lay on people, yet gentle enough with them.

Val's neice just turned 9 months lastweekend right on the show. This was her 2nd show, I'm sure her owner would appreciate the compliments. Of course Val and her niece are practically twins so that must mean Val is also an incredible looking dog!

Yeah IM still around I don't get to post as much as I would like though. I miss you guys!
Everything is going pretty well all the dogs are doing great Bluebelle just got her CGC not to long ago and she now visits the hospice every other Tuesday. Punkin is still the same old Punkin she still has major issues with other dogs but just recently as much as I hated to I began using a shock collar on her and it has really helped her to be able to be more of a member of the family.
My foster dog Chloe is still with us I am beginning to think she will never be adopted which is fine because I love her so much.
My English Bulldog Winston has gotten huge he is a silly sweet dog he just finished OB training now if I could just get him to stop drooling so much! LOL
And Fancy my little Pekingese is still as rotten as ever!
Your dogs look great! Val is just as beautiful as ever!
