My 3 y.o persian seemed otherwise fine 2 days ago, but all of a suden shes trying to pee everywhere but can only leave little quarter size drops, it was mostly urine yesterday but today its more blood than anything. She doesnt seem to be in any pain and is still eating as usual...what do I do? I really dont have money for the vet..if you have any suggestions for me msg me ASAP or even put yourself on my MSN

Your cat needs to go to a vet, I know you said theres a money issue, maybe some friends could help you out. Sounds like a bladder infection and they dont go away without treatment, it'll get worse and its a lot less expensive to catch it early and start treatments.

I agree with DeLaUK: your cat needs to see a vet! The longer you wait, the more expensive it gets... Maybe you can ask your vet if they are willing to work out a payment plan (?) for you? That way you don't have to have all the money right away. Keep us posted on ypur kittys condition.

    Good luck! :y_the_best:

im in agreeance w/ everyone else here..she needs a vet..when my caesar was sick w/ a liver infection the bill came to $483.82..but my vet let me do a deposit and post date a check..im sure you can find somewhere to help ya out w/ that..good luck!

You definately need to take her to the vet. She probably has crystals and/or a UTI. My Sabrina only pees inappropriately when she has a flare-up of crystals and is on a special diet for the crystals. If your cat does indeed have crystals, they could lead to stones and a blockage. Both conditions are very painful to the cat too.

Anytime there's blood in the urine, it's a problem. I'll back everyone else up, head to your vet. :)

This sounds like an emergency situation. She needs to see a vet immediately. There are no home remedies for this and even if she does'nt appear to be in pain I'm betting she is.

my cat had the same problem, not sure if it's related to her death but her blood tests came back as her kidneys were failing, so please go and get her seen by the vet :(

since the original poster hasn't come back thought I'd let everyone know she and I have been PMing and she did take the cat to the vet yesterday and it had to spend the night - although she didn't answer me back as to why.
But she did see the vet for this :y_the_best:
