I've been aware of their stance for quite some time...yes...amazing that they can support the destruction of pit bulls, yet would be up in arms about the destruction of chickens and even nusiance animals such as coyotes, or disease carrying animals like possums..
just goes to show how political the organization is...and why i'm a supporter of animals welfare and not animal rights.

does anyone here think a pit can take down a full grown bull?

The way they used to do it, at least from what Ive read or pics Ive seen, it was a sport, the bull was tied up, kind of limits its line of defense anyway!!!!
I dont know if only 1 dog was used either, Ive seen old pics in UK were there are usually at least 3 or 4 dogs.

So PETA is saying that killing Pit Bulls is right and ethical?

PETA is a crock of bull dookie. I never liked them and their nonsense about becoming vegan for the animals. A pit bull being aggressive is not the dog's fault, its the owner's, usually. So why should a breeding ban and immediate eutanization be put up for a dog with nothing but a bad name because people train them poorly? I know alot of Pits that are just big lap dogs and love to be loved and cuddled.

Sure they can take down a bull....In a pack. Unless the dog gets lucky, I doubt one can take a bull down when its not tied up so it cant fight back.

im sure a pack of pits would have a chance of taking down a bull. but that report gives off the impression that a pit could take out a bull by itself. and that is just crazy. theres tons of diff dogs that would have just as good of a chance of taking out a bull .in a pack
