another hit for bad pit bull press..

saw this story just now on yahoo....sounds really fishy...why do all these really stupid people have to have pit bulls...such a sad story...something was definetely wrong with this situation in the first place...the mother sounds crazy.

Yea, all the eggs are not in the same basket with this story.
Something sounds very fishy. As a mother of three, I have to ask this:
Why would you order your kid to stay in the basement with a shovel and not just put the dog in the basement or put the dog outside or in a place that was not near the child in the first place???
She is not telling all.
I can bet my pay check on it.

No, thats not the whole story. Unless she's a total dip****.
She could have had both of them fixed, which it sounded like neither of them were. And what mother would ACTUALLY lock their child in a basement when she was so worried about the dogs? why not take the kid with you, send him to someone's house, or lock the dogs up. I dont know a dog that would suddenly maul a person in the family, while everyone was gone, when there wheren't any signs of violence before. She doesn't even know which one did it. But wouldn't the dog have blood in it's muzzle?
I dunno....

 

Sounds like simple child abuse to me. How many times did she lock the child up since she stated "like always" he found a way out? Are we so sure the dogs did the deed? After all, who found the child?

 

I was thinking that also, any chance she had beaten the kid herself and then let the dogs loose on him? Covering up whatever she had done.....or she's a tweeker or something.....
