We're back!! and in LOVE!!!

hey guys!! We got back this Tueday at about 2am...

Sara and her boyfriend were sooo great. We had a WONDERFUL time. Let me tell ya, her dogs have the life. ALL of them!!! The puppies were sooo fat and healthy and soo playful, and Monty and Honey Jade were really cool pits. I have bruises on my legs from Monty's tail. That dog can wag his tail like a bull whip!!!!


Anyhow.... Jamiya... I don't know how you do it, but I'll NEVER go through Kansas again!!! at least not the southwestern area anyhow... For 150 miles it was nothing and i mean NOTHING but flat wheat feilds... UGh...

Oklahoma was just as bad. Southern Ok was beautiful with the rocky hills and stuff.... but northern.. ick...

We stopped in Colorado in Estes Park and climbed the rocky mountains. That was sooo cool. I'll be uploading all my pics to an ofoto photo album this week so yall can see our fun...

We got to Wyoming a little after 7:30pm on Friday and had a nice evening out to dinner with Sara and her boyfriend/husband.

I met my girls and they are sooo cool. It was a bit overwhleming at first. I wasn't expecting a herd of miniture elephants to come bounding at me, but it was great.

Kabuki came straight to me and gave me the biggest puppy kiss I think i've ever had! Askari made it quite clear that we weren't supposed to be there, but Precious warmed up to Granvel Right away.

Saturday we went to a festival they were having at their fair grounds, and took the puppy and Precious. Granvel had precious on her harness, but we found out very quickly that she does not like little yappy dogs... We spent the whole afternoon dodging other dogs, and granvel had to bear hug her a few times to keep her from them. The quite ones didn't bother her, but the little ones that yapped and ran at her made her very upset. Finally we put the halti on her and she was a completely diffrent dog. I walked her from then on and she stayed at my side with no tension on the leash whatso ever....

We made it home and they have decided that this is home and that they own the place.

Both are eating me out of house at home.... they chewed up their bowls..which isn't that big a deal...but the bowls were METAL~!!

Other than that, their doing great.

Boo got hurt again while we were gone. My mother in law let him out of his pen around noon on Sunday, and between then and 3pm, another dog chewed on him again. The only thing we can think of is it smelled the wounds and took a bite. its not serious, but just re opened the healing wounds.

We found out that it was the brown dog that was in on it the first time... and it was my father-in-laws dog!!! So she is in BIG trouble. I told him about it and told him if I saw her again anywhere near our place, I'd shoot her. So she's been in his yard ever since.

Granvel has had it with stray dogs, and loose dogs. He's vowed that if he see's a dog on our property, he's shooting it. I told him he couldn't do that, but he's dead set on doing it. He's devistated with Boo and he ain't letting anything like that ever happen again. I guess I can't blame him.

Precious is keeping pretty much everything away. She wants to check Boo out, but he's terrified by dogs, and she's jsut about as big as he is so he runs from her and she gets flustered....

her and Kabuki play all day. I swear they have more toys and stuff than Toys-R-Us.... granvel brought home a HUGe bag of dog toys from Wal-mart. They had all the doggie toys on sale for $0.88 cents each!!! So he spent like $20 on a bunch!

He restles with her, and is trying to teach her to catch a frizbee... she'll go get it, but she won't catch it in the air.

Kabuki just wants to be loved.... and eat the remote control, cell phone... shoes... what ever she can get her mouth on...

I froze a carrott yesterday and gave it to her; she ate it. Along with sticks, leaves, grass, horse poo, boo boo poo, and rocks... I've never seen a puppy that chews as much as her....

Ok. I'll quit rambling now.. I could go on FOREVER about them!!!

Thank you much for the compliments... I'm soooooo glad the dogs are doing good and sounds like they're in hog heaven out there... Really excited to see pics of them!!!

People wonder about tail docking but to see the happy tails in my house and to HEAR them cracking about if they hit a door or chair can bring one around to the docking side of things rather quickly...and if that doesn't work...why...I'm sure bruises can be compelling too... Sorry 'bout that Sam...he just loves people so much ya know!

I was glad to have you guys over for a visit for sure...glad to meet you in person and spend some fun time... it was good... Can't wait to hear more about the dog's and all that jazz... HOW exciting!!!

 

I'm so glad you guys had a great time! It sounds like wonderful chaos at your house now.

And yes, Kansas totally sucks. I am not here by choice. :?

awwww they sound like wonderful dogs I hope you have the most wonderful time with them and I am sorry about boo being attacked again.
I really hate it when people let their animals run loose, pure stupidity.
