    Hello everyone,
Ive got this one gallon tank which I used to keep crickets in now I do not have a gecko anymore I thought that I could use it as a very small tank set up. What do you think I should keep in it?
Maybe a fighter or a dwarf gourami or some white clouds?
It would be heated from the bottom by undertank heating. Would I need an airpump or a small sponge filter?
    Thank you in advance!!!

Just about the only options are a betta (although they really do best with 2+ gallons), ghost shrimp, and a snail or two.

Everything else either gets too big or needs to be in groups wich you can fit in a 1 gallon.

I wouldn't keep anything in it apart from some old nails or something put it in your garage for storage even for a betta i think its too small but thats just me i wouldn't have a betta in anything under 2 gal

if you really wanted something 1 neon might last with water changes every three days

That would be a cruel life for that poor neon :( .

I would just go with the betta. Most other fish get to big for a small tank.

I'll second the betta. Both of my male bettas are kept in 3 gallon jars. That's a nice size for a single betta.

I vote for heavily planted with some nice cherry shrimp (at least I think that's what they're called  ). There's also many types of killifish that prefer smaller environments 3-5 gallons being ideal for them. At least its something a little differenet from a betta. There's tons of killies available at Aquabid :)

    Thanks everyone!
I'm gonna stick with the betta (sorry tina) but in England I can't seem to find anywhere that sells killifish or cherry shrimp. I'll post some more if I have any problems with this tank.
    Thanks again
