10 gallon tank!!!

I have a 10 gallon tank. My problem is that Ive been searching online to find some info on some colorful (very colorful) hardy, moderate to easily maintainable small freshwater fish.
I can only find TETRAS!!! :!: (ahhhh) and although there is nothing wrong with tetras I kinda want a little more exciting looking fish that I wont get board of looking at. Tetras seem to only have one really vibrant color available. (red and blue) and the rest are kinda dull.
So...if someone knows of a fish that is bright, colorful and will not out grow my 10 gallon tank please let me know! Thank you!!!

 

I would suggest for a 10 gallon, if you don't mind cichlids, get a Ram Cichlid. You can get up to 2 or maybe 3 of them for a 10 gallon. They only get 3 inches. A very colorful tank I think would be 2 Blue Rams and 10 Neons. :y_the_best:

 

try zebra danios. very colorful and active!

 

get a bigger tank. i have found that small tanks are WAY more work than larger ones. you will have more options with what types of fish to keep.

 

i agree, also that is much easier for a person new to the hobby (assuming you are) to make some mistakes on the water quality....a small tank would poison the fish to quickly if something went wrong.

 

this is wut i would try in ur tank:
3-zebra danios
3-flame tetras
1-ghost shrimp
1-african dwarf frog
1-freshwater clam

if ur like me i like to have more than fish in my tanks inverts frogs nething kool looking so this would be my choice of fish and u could even put some live plants in good luck :y_the_best:
