3 month old cat

    i just adopted a 3 month old cat from a shelter and he is not eating or drinking what should i do?

    if you just adopted him then he may be scared and hiding and wnot eat. You can try tempting him with tuna. If he wont eat at all give him karo syrup to give him energy.

    I'm sure youll get much better advice

    I'd get him checked by the vet really soon to rule out any illnesses.
    Have you switched food? You might want to find out what the shelter was feeding and see if he'll eat that.
    He might have a cold and not be able to smell his food well - warm up the stinkiest canned food you can find even if it's cheap stuff and try that. Usually the cheap canned food stinks enough they want to eat it - if they can't smell their food they won't eat.
    When I get a foster in whose scared and won't eat I always tempt them with baked chicken....that's usually a hit and gets their appetite kicked up enough to start eating.
