8 Days and Counting down...

On Saturday October 8 at 8:00PM the Eukanuba Tournament of Champions dog show will be telecast from Houston on the Animal Planet network. During the show a feature will be aired on our dog park. The feature was filmed a couple of months ago. You should be able to spot Duke and Freckles as they are the first to come through the gate in the opening shot. Duke has a red bandana around his neck so you can tell him apart from all of the other Yellow Labs. Freckles is unique so no problem spotting that tail. Later you should be able to spot them running around in the background and swimming in the pond.
Will remind everyone next week but mark your calenders. The show will be re-broadcast several times in case you miss the Saturday showing.

Will someone PLEASE record that for me?? I'll pay you for the tape and time. I'm really wanting to watch that and the show, but will be sooo busy with classes and the girls!!! That and SA has an x-rays that evening!!

 

I will also pay for a copy of it! I don't have cable. Anyone willing..just let me know and I'll send payment.

 

Same here Maisy. I have to either watch it in the Camper at the park (which I don't have time to do and its in Victoria and I'll be at home!!! ) or go to my Grand mothers, and Papa ain't gonna let me watch it when the Astro's are playing.. and they are ALWAYS playin on Satelite!!!

 

I have two people lined up to record the show, one on a DVD. If successful I may be able to send copies out to those who miss the show.

I have DVR, so unable to share... (that's the ONE disadvantage of not having a VCR)

 

I use a program called DV Archive to pull stuff off my ReplayTV and on to my computer, myshihpoo. You can burn the files to a DVD or CD and watch them on another computer. I think you need to convert file types if you want to burn a DVD that will work on a TV.

 

weally!??? I've never heard of such a thing....... how do you get the show/movie uploaded to your computer tho?

 

You get the program called DV Archive - it's free. It has an interface where you can look at the shows on the ReplayTV and tell which ones to download to your computer. The ReplayTV is connected to the ethernet along with my computers.
