IF your spending more on gas, your spending less on your pets!

IT HAS BEEN CALCULATED THAT IF EVERYONE IN THE UNITED STATES DID NOT
PURCHASE A DROP OF GASOLINE FOR ONE DAY AND ALL AT THE SAME TIME, THE
OIL COMPANIES WOULD CHOKE ON THEIR STOCKPILES.

AT THE SAME TIME IT WOULD HIT THE ENTIRE INDUSTRY WITH A NET LOSS OF
OVER 4.6 BILLION DOLLARS WHICH AFFECTS THE BOTTOM LINES OF THE OIL
    COMPANIES.

THEREFORE MAY 19TH HAS BEEN FORMALLY DECLARED "STICK IT TO THEM" DAY
AND THE PEOPLE OF THIS NATION SHOULD NOT BUY A SINGLE DROP OF GASOLINE
    THAT DAY.

THE ONLY WAY THIS CAN BE DONE IS IF YOU FORWARD THIS E-MAIL TO AS MANY
PEOPLE AS YOU CAN AND AS QUICKLY AS YOU CAN TO GET THE WORD OUT.

WAITING ON THIS ADMINISTRATION TO STEP IN AND CONTROL THE PRICES IS
    NOT
GOING TO HAPPEN. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE REDUCTION AND CONTROL IN PRICES
THAT THE ARAB NATIONS PROMISED TWO WEEKS AGO?

REMEMBER ONE THING, NOT ONLY IS THE PRICE OF GASOLINE GOING UP BUT AT
THE SAME TIME AIRLINES ARE FORCED TO RAISE THEIR PRICES, TRUCKING
COMPANIES ARE FORCED TO RAISE THEIR PRICES WHICH EFFECTS PRICES ON
EVERYTHING THAT IS SHIPPED. THINGS LIKE FOOD, CLOTHING, BUILDING
MATERIALS, MEDICAL SUPPLIES ETC. WHO PAYS IN THE END? WE DO!

WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. IF THEY DON'T GET THE MESSAGE AFTER ONE DAY,
WE WILL DO IT AGAIN AND AGAIN.

SO DO YOUR PART AND SPREAD THE WORD. FORWARD THIS EMAIL TO EVERYONE
    YOU
KNOW. MARK YOUR CALENDARS AND MAKE MAY 19TH A DAY THAT THE CITIZENS OF
THE UNITED STATES SAY "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH"

That might be an idea to consider. Not sure if it would actually work, getting the email to everyone and just boycotting one day. However I fail to see the connection of spending less on gas would mean spending more on pets.

    What I meant was:

If your having to dish out more money for gas. IE I used to spend $30 to fill my tank, now it costs me close to $60!
Then that takes away money that you can spend (the extra $30) on doggie toys, treats, exc...

I was just trying to find a link to gas with animals.....LOL
    SOrry for the confusion!

    hehe Sam, you nut!!

I am with you on the damn gas prices though. I am not sure the exchange rate to US dollars, but right now I am paying $0.89/L. and Curt has to get premium and is paying $1.02!!! That is outrageous. Considering it was almost $0.30 less a couple of months ago.

I saw a clip from the newspaper yesterday with a pic of a gas pump saying something like $0.39/L. and thought it was an old pic but then realized it was an American pump. Is this normal price for gas for you or more expensive??

You're still paying waaaayyy less than us Canadians I think.

Gas is $1.98 a gallon here for regular unleaded and $2.09 for diesel unfortunately our truck takes diesel and it has 2 tanks so it is costing us big time to fill up. The gas prices are so Crazy! And they just keep going up!

Here in Arizona and California, we have special formulated fuel due to air quality. We now pay between $2.30 a gal. and $2.50 a gal. for regular unleaded. The premium is $2.65 to $2.75. My husband paid $1.91 a gal for deisel which use to be the cheepest gas on the planet. $80 to fill his tank. (OUCH!) Because we both do a lot of driving because of our work, we spen in excess of $300 a week. Ad that up for a month, and our dogs could be living high on the hog. (Whoops, just kidding!)

By the was, Bullylove1: They had an article in the paper the other day from a top mechanic and he says if your vehicle calls for premium, it doesn't hurt them to use regular unleaded. The only car that it might make a difference if is the sporty version of some kind of Volvo.

Thats true. Granvels baby, his "marro" can only take the Premium. It starts knocking and the lifters rattle really bad, plus the performance is way down on it on the regular unleaded.

Here gas went up 9 cents since yesterday! its now at $2.07 Wow, yall are paying way tooo much. LEts BOYCOTT!!!!!! Its got to do some good.

I'm forwarding this message to some of the tv and radio stations. Maybe they'll broadcast it to the rest of the public, and scare the crap out of the dumb ass budget board!!!!

lovesdapits. I use regular. I drove an old piece so I really don't care. Curt's car is a "high performance" that has had tens of thousands of $$ in upgrades, so he doesn't have that option. Oh well, he just got a pretty big raise so he can afford it. Maybe he'll even give ME gas money. hehe

I know what your saying BUlly.

I'm the kind of person who doesn't ask for anything, unless its the last resort. I don't want to ever be in the situation where I have to rely on someone for financial support, and where am I.....

Getting my gas "allowance" every other day!!!!
