    Ok
My filters bottom pice had fallen off and I didnt notice it.

I came bck and my little Albino bottom feeder (Abby)
    Was missing.

THen I realized the bottum of the filter sucky thingy
    Had come off.
I turned off the filter because I had to go tpo school.
Abby comes out and I think she was dead but no time for that because I was going to be late.

I came home and tried to get her out thinking she was dead.

It turns out she is alive and well.

She is swimming around as I look at her typingon my lap- top.

Has this kind of thing ever happened to you?

    Did your fish live

Does this kind of thing happen often and the fish livees?

sounds sweet.....so what happened, did abby get stuck in the intake pipe? if so, your lucky you caught that as soon as you did and turned off the filter......if you didnt, she quite possibly could have been dead when you got home due to being restricted in that small of a space. :y_the_best:

I knew a guy who had a clown loach get sucked up by his canister filter and it lived there for about 6 months before he found it. It was small, thin, and really pale, but still alive.
