I've noticed some people are keeping Oscars in a 55 gallon sometimes 2 in the same tank. Is this okay if you get them while they are juvies? Also can someone tell me what the most aggressive type of Oscar is?

u can keep one full grown oscar in a 55 gallon, and 2 in a 75 gallon, and so on.........oscars are all the same species, just different color variants so it all depends on individual oscars on their temperment.

Oscars do best with at least 50 gallons each (I tried 2 in a 75 and it failed miserable due to both aggerssion and too much bioload. I'll never try keeping 2 in a 75 again).

And all oscars are the same species so they're all pretty much the same. Aggression will vary by the individual fish, it has nothing to do with color/pattern.

Some guy on Cichlidmadness had a massive albino oscar i think its 14" or something huge like that. It is very agressive but i think he said he feeds it lots of live food (Does this acually make a fish more agressive?)
Thought id ad a picture. This guy is one of my favorite fish on any fish forums
