Annual Springtime Texas Ritual Fulfilled

For some reason most Texans with either a child or dog or both are compelled each spring to make a pilgrimage to the Hill Country to photograph their child or dog or both in a field of Bluebonnets. On a good weekend it's hard to find a good field that's not full of cute babies sitting in the flowers. I don't really understand this compulsion and I am certainly not so obsessed. That said here is my photo of the boys in the Bluebonnets, version 2005. My duty fulfilled I now have a clear conscience until 2006. :D :D

If you can't see them, right-click on the box with the red x and select Properties. Copy the URL and paste into a new browser window. I couldn't see them before but after doing that I can see them in the original post. The pictures are teeny, though!

 Great picture!! They take pictures of kids in sunflower fields around here...wonder when that starts and if I can get my girls to sit still. Probably not.

I don't know how you do it Dukesdad. The pics of your boys are always so perfect. I only have to look over at the camera and Floob's barking at me. I have a camera phone now but the second I hold it up he jumps at it :x
