Another Katrina Rescue Story

Each Sunday in the Houston Chronicle one of the regular columnist writes a Pet of the Week story about a dog available for adoption at a local shelter. The dog he features is always adopted by Monday. Last Sunday he featured two dogs that were rescued from New Orleans. The dog's owners were now staying in Houston and recognized their pets and rushed down to the shelter for a reunion. They thought they would never see their dogs again.
How's that for fate.

 

that's so sweet! If i ever had to leave, the dog's would be the first things in my car, after katrina, i don't believe i will ever ignore an evacuation, at least not for a while. (although i don't know what we'd evacuate for in dallas, you don't exactly get much warning for tornadoes)
