anybody knows wats recomend to do before.....

    how do i clean a piece of wood'the ones u find in wather', before puting it in my tank?

    Well mine was too big for a cookpot or kettle. So I just removed all bark and loose chips. Removed any discoloartion (if there is some) with a knife. Then I tied 2 big rocks to mine and put it in the aquarium. Some fungus should start showing so use some fungus killer for like 3 days and then everything will be fine.

    You could also soak it in a bleach solution (1 part bleach/10 parts water). It may lighten the color of the wood, but it will kill anything on it. Then you just rinse it with lots of water and dechlorinator.
