Anyone ever heard of a Black Budgie???

    I was wondering if anyone had ever heard of a Black budgie exsiting? And if anyone had any pictures of a black budgie it would be even better..

    Hi i have never seen a black budgie.
    I also would like to know if there is any pictures of any i have done a search and can not find any pictures or anything about them.

    Never seen a black one. The closest you could probably get is grey.

    There are also "black faced" budgies. This is the closest you'll probably get to all black. I believe this one is a grey black faced budgie.

    I read something on a website that said the black budgie or however a black budgie is breeded the budgies that are used went extinct during WW2... dont know how much I belive that though... OOO that last picture I like... because I have an all white budgie and Id like to get an all black friend
    ahhh the harmony hehe

    I believe tha black budgies used in WWII were actually "black faced" budgies and not black budgies. They're starting to make a comeback now but I don't think there are too many of them out there so finding one might be a little tricky.
