Anyone here who dont have their budgies wings clipped?

I was just wondering if there is anyone on this board who do not have their budgies wings clipped... Have you had many if any problems with this?? Thankyou

 

Hi i have 10 budgies and only 6 of them have there wings clipped as they dont like being caught once its time to go back to the cage the other 4 will come straight to me when i whistle to them.

My cockatiels wings are clippedmy finch's wings are not as i do not let them out as its a nightmare to catch heheheheh.

Wing clipping helps with training what you do not read on the internet is that a clipped bird is a bird that depends on you to get around and becomes attached to its owner and this is how the bond is formed.

If you have never clipped a birds wings get a breeder or an avian vet to do it as you do not want to cut down to the blood supply and you dont want to be cutting blood feathers.

mine arent, me and my mom dont know how, and i feel bad when tey try to fly and they cant

 

Why would they not be able to fly if there wings were not clipped?

 

Birds with their wings clipped can't "fly" like they normally would, they can however still get off the ground and flutter about.
