need some more advice please :?:
im getting a second hand older type outdoor avery..that needs some work, like rewiring....so need advice how a avery should safely be for birds....thanks
theres just one door i think,so how do u go in and out without letting them out??

the other thing, and ive asked this before for my indoor cage...but once again..what r ideal birds for outside averies.bigger birds, smaller birds/?
what birds can u mix in outside avery??
i have budgies inside and a cockatiel,so looking for another breed of birds for the outside one.

thanks in advance for any advice

You need to make sure the aviary construction is solid and secured to the ground to make sure it does not fall over.
The mesh holes need to be small enough so that birds can not escape or get stuck in them.

Since birds fly up If only one door its needs to be a small door at the bottom of the aviary large enough so you can crouch down and get in without the birds escaping.

Cockatiels and budgies can be housed together.
Finch.s canaries, Doves, Can be housed together.
Best thing to do is go around different well respected petstores, or even better get intouch with breeders of birds and ask them what different species they have together...

Keep in mind that budgies are very agressive birds if they are breeding or have eggs or chicks in a nest and will attack any other bird wether its bigger or smaller the budgie will not care.
