Baby Ducks can I help them OUT???

    HI, I have 2 baby ducks that are still hatching, it has been about 12 hrs. from the point I saw the first crack. Now the one duck has his beek through and part of the wing, is it ok to help him further along??? :?:

    You have to be very careful when helping any bird leave its shell as if you rip the membrane you can cause serious problems to the chicks.

    What you can do is gently chip the shell and see how they get on it can take 24hours for birds to hatch out of there shell some abit longer.

    Was there enough moisture in the brooder or nest.
