How she got on top of that door, I'll never know. She's been obsessed with heights as long as I can remember.

I was in the other room and heard this horrible noise like a cat was desperate to get out of a room with the door shut. But, we don't keep any doors shut, so I was confused. I looked around for a few minutes until I noticed the spare bedroom door swaying.

There was Chloe, up on top and panicing. She got up there with no sure footing and couldn't get down. The door kept moving on her and she was freaking out.

So, I pulled up a chair and lifted her off the door. She was scared and caught a claw in my face while trying to steady herself.

After I put her on the ground, guess what she does? She starts eyeing up the door again!

I don't know how she got up there in the first place. I guess she made a huge jump from the dresser.

That's hysterical! Nice of you to take her picture before rescuing her! I would have done the same thing in your shoes...

 Did she get a pretend spanking for her antics? Who needs those wooden cat door hangers when you have a real live one? 8)

haha... so I was a little mean. I took the pictures before I rescued her.

I thought that if she got herself up there, she could wait for just a couple pictures.

But, when she started to panic and not know how to get down, I dropped the camera and saved my baby!

Oh my goodness. Chloe seems to be very inventive. Good thing you were there to rescue her.

Did you look for scratch marks on the door. She may have made some when she jumped.

Mittens likes to jump up on a high cabinet near a window so she jumps up from the window sill. There were pretty good scratch marks on the back of our old cabinet from her not quite making it to the top and having to claw her way up.

    Great pictures. :)
