I wanted to know if anyone has any ideas how to stop this... We have part border collie/ retriever and when ever she goes outside she Barks and does not stop... And of course it is not a nice quite bark... A few of my neighbors are complaining. I have heard about the barking collars but I don’t know if they actually work.. Also can we use then while we are also using the collars for the underground fence.. Help I don’t know what I should do.. We have only had the dog for a few months. We got her from the SPCA. Also if anyone knows any types to stop a dog from digging it would really help. She has dug a bunch of holes under our front porch

well, border collies are extremely high energy, she could be barking and digging because she is bored. The bark collars can work quite well. But first I would try to figure out what is triggering her to bark. I have a lab who barked non-stop while we were gone. I thought it was seperation Anxiety, instead he just wanted to be in the house so we put a dog door and that solved the problem, has was happy as a clam.

border collies tend not only to need a tremendous amoutn of excercise but they also need a job to do, thats their breeding.

What kind of exercise/play daily are you giving?

If you are leaving him outside alone he is probably bored and that is what he does for entertainment. He needs lots of excerrcise and attention!! So take how much work your doing now and multiply it by 10, then the problems will most likely go away :D
    Good Luck!!
