Batting dwarf hampster

    I just got a second baby (2 females)all black dwarf hampster its friendly when u hold it but it bats and nibbles on u when u try to pick it up do u know how to make it stop?

    It could just be that it's just not used to being held. Give it some time and she should get used to being handled.

    you may have to re-taim it. my hamster was like that but not to me,to everyone else. it can become a habbit if you dont stop it now

    Some animals enjoy being picked up and some don't and so I guess your hamster is one of the don't's but as OneWolfsDream said you can try to retame it!
