Would a betta and a ghost shrimp be compatible together? If not what would be in an unfiltered tank? -tl

Another quick thought. I have the betta with a few small fake palnts that i put in. They are smooth (not like the rough, prickly ones you see sometimes.) Is this safe for him or do you think he would tear his fins. If so I do know alot about live plants, but would you be able to keep any live plants under a standard light bulb, like a desk lamp bulb, (that what hes under) Thanks alot. -tl

he sohuldnt tear his fins on the plant...and worse comes worst and he does, the fins will regenerate pretty quickly.............i think the betta will eat the ghsot shrimp, but depending on the size tank you might be able to fit in a snail
