Help! I love my dog to pieces but he is SO messy when he drinks water. It just POURS out of his jowls like a waterfall and he will walk all around the kitchen like this! I have huge towels under the water bowl to catch it that i have to change out twice a day. He also just slurps it out the sides of the bowl

Has anyone ever come across any type of dog bowl that isn't quite as messy... or some sort of contraption that will wipe his mouth! lol

guess ya didn't do your research on the breed when ya got em.

I have mastiffs. Their very messy when they drink. I have "drool" rags all over.
THe only time they drool is after drinkin' or playing really hard.

I wipe their mouths afterwards. And I use a 5gallon buckett for their water. THey require so much. And it doesn't splash out the sides as bad.

Only thing worse than one slobbering drinker is TWO slobbering drinkers.
Freckles is a bit worse than Duke as he can load up those jowls with at least a half pint to dribble across the floor. Duke mainly splashes out around the bowl.
I feel like relocating the water bowl to the shower stall.

While I was away on vacation a friend of mine took care of my St Bernard 'Stella' and she ended up with the water bowl in the shower stall and she was happy with that....I just keep my water bowls outside to keep the mess off the floor.
