My food and water dishes are rather big and deep... but she has no problems however latly she has been cramming right into the dish and then eating while she is like laying down in the dish... should i get smaller dishes so its easier for her or do you think she enjoys doing this? Sometimes she eats the normal way and has no probems... im thinkin this is a good thing as it might be easier to introduce her to a bath...

I can't see this being a problem my female cockatiel also does this on regular occasions although sometimes i think its just so the male cant eat the fresh seed. The only thing you would have to keep an eye out for is if she is pooing in the food bowl as she might end up eating some of her own poo. The dry poo can be plucked out if spotted.

I change my food twice a day so I dont think the poop in the food will be an issue..
    thanks for the info
