bloody eye booger?

    just noticed Zeus had eye boogers :| and one was bloody!!! Any idea? I checked out his eyes and the look fine and he's not congested at all like he might have a URI. Don't see any injuries. Anyone ever see something like this?

    Do you think he might have gotten a little, tiny scratch near the corner of his eye or something? I would just keep a close eye on it and see if you notice any more. Hopefully, its nothing.

    My Jazzy is pure white and sometimes gets a reddish discharge from her eyes..her eyes seem to be fine..so i am not sure exactly what it is..she has a vet appt next week so i will ask to find out what it is..it doesnt seem to bother her.
