Blueyes visited me today

My cat Blueyes, we had to put him down on Valentine's Day a eyar ago, visited me today. I am home sick with the flu and when all my family left I started to get lonely and so i was about to go outside and get the dogs (against my better judgement) when Blueyes showed up. That same feeling came over me whenever he visits. He was a Siamese and you know how Siamese cats yowl, well he yowled all morning. When I finally got up I could tell he was walking around me and watching me. When I let our other outside cat in and that cat started to snuggle with me he left. He was the best cat and always new when I was upset or lonely. Obviously he still does!

 

every now and then when I find myself in bed - alone without a cat I swear I feel a cat walking around on my blankets, around my pillow - I'll reach around to see which cat has decided to go to bed and my hand touches no little furry body. I like to think it's one of my Bridge kitties coming to share the night with me

 

That's a very sweet story. Sometimes I wonder if my kitties that have passed on come to visit sometimes.

 

My beloved Vene used to visit me also when I'm sad and missing her. I have not seen or heard from her recently.

 

I lost 3 pets in 3 weeks, Blueyes, a bunny, Sasha, and my horse, Targhee. I don't hear from Targhee much, sometimes I'll hear him or I'll see a flash of red and he'll be gone. Sasha used to visit all the time, but i haven't heard from him lately either. if i would go out into the garage late at night i would sit and listen to him purr and play. Blueyes visits a fair amount still. He'll walk around the house and sometimes i'll feel him come and sit with me in bed and he'll lay next to me and i'll feel the weight against my side and sometimes i'll wake up and roll over and he'll be sitting there swishing his tail and purring and i'll roll back over and go back to sleep.
