Bones went to the vet today

Had to take Bones to the vet to get some more pills for his kidneys, the vet asked me some questions about his eating and drinking habits and seemed quite pleased that he eats lots and his drinking hasn't increased since I was last there
Hes got some special Kidney diet food to try out so we can see which one he likes before buying lots of it, and some powdered suppliment that I've forgoten what its for, I'm glad the vet has decieded to put him on the kidney diet food last time I was there I asked about it but they said it wasn't needed.

He also has had a blood test to see how his kidneys are doing (the last one was 6 months ago and they hadn't got any worse) , I get the results in a few hours, It always makes me worried waiting for results :? wish us luck!

On a different note it looks like I've found out what was causing Bones allergies, its grass! Theres a patch of long grass in our garden that bones liked to pee in, when he tried to bury it he was dragging his legs through the grass, the allergy was on his legs! I've put down a litter tray and he uses that now, and his allergy has cleared up at last!

Just got the results back from the vets, his kidneys haven't gotten any worse - great news . This means since we found out he had kidney diesease it hasn't got any worse at all! Treatment is working! Now he's going on a special diet too I expect he has quite a few good years ahead of him
