Booger has a new toy

We went into Pet Supplies Plus today to get more of those stupid little furry mice (Booger goes through about 10 of them a month heheh) and I was insisting to hubby that we get her a toy that many users here on the forum have and sware by.

Hubby was convinced that this would be a total waste of money and that Booger would totally ignore it but we got her a Turbo Scratcher today and she absolutely LOVES it! She slaps the ball around and flops about on it. Even when she's not playing with the ball, she lays on it. I'm so gald I got her one and highly recommend it!





The reason that hubby thought she would ignore it is that we got her a similar toy with a little mouse on a turntable that she used to love. But she hasn't touched it in ages. I think she's just gotten to big for it (It's much smaller than the Turbo Scratcher).

If anyone here has a small kitten that would like our old one (it's in great shape), I'd be happy to send it to them. The first PM to me from someone in the USA gets it. Sorry about the USA restriction but postage outside of the country sometimes is rediculous and our purse strings are a bit tight lately.

Here's a pic of the old one. It's about half the size of the Turbo Scratcher and is really only good for a small kitty.

Yup i have both..and your right..my kitties hate the little one..but the Turbo scratcher...they LUV it..have ya put cat nip on it yet..my boys basically fight each other to get to the catnip first..and they will just out of nowhere jump on it and start chasing the ball..im glad Booger liked it!! I had to go out and buy another Turbo scratcher bc all 3 of em were fighting over it..lol..i have a red and a blue one!! but they now need the replacement pads..another trip to petsmart..lol

LOL your little one still has the mouse intact..both of my little scratchers the mouse looks like its went a few rounds w/ mike tyson..

I'm glad Booger likes her new toy! Kyrre still plays with the little one he got from you from time to time. But mostly he just lies next to it, stares at the mouse and swat at it now and then. I think he has given up, but he feels like he has to watch it so it doesn't run off! lol :mrgreen:

 

LOL's Cassie. It's so nice to spoil our little ones! Pumpkin and Milo are still crazy over the huge turbo scratcher that Wtpooh gave them way before X-mas! I don't think Booger will ever get sick of it! :mrgreen:

Pomlover claimed the little one. I'm glad to see it go to furbabies that will enjoy it. If I didn't get a taker on it, I was going to donate it to a local shelter.

Yeah, I put the catnip on the scratcher pad but I don't think Booger reacts to it anymore :0011: When she was little, she'd go nuts over it. I guess she either built up a tolarence for it or just grew out of it. She goes nuts when I give her Purr though! It's a riot watching her play when she's all Purr'd up. :y_the_best:

My cat must of been in heat and we didn't even know it and my 7 year old left the front door open and she snuck out. She has NEVER been out the door before so I was so shocked to hear that she even escaped.

We didn't think anything about it until once her little belly was getting bigger. UGH!! She must of gotten pregnant once she got out. What a shock! She is bleeding a bit so I am getting really excited! Also is getting swollen teats. I am also VERY nervous as I wasn't planning this and have never done this before. I have studied ALOT lately about it, but no matter what, I will still be very nervous. She should have them any day now. I know that the kittens will have a ball with the toy and who ever plays with it the most, it will go with them if that is OK with Cassie. They should be very pretty kittens if they take after their momma.
