my birds are fine I'm trying to find a yellow face blue to add to my flock & this Is what I'm wondering I now have 2 males & 2 females the new bird should I get a male Or female
I know that females tend to fight more but my 2 males are 2 & 4 months so I was thinking of getting a younger female seeing as the 2 girls I have now arwe 6 & 7 what are your thoughts??

Hi if all your birds live together in the same cage or aviary there needs to be more females than males as if there is more males they will all fight.

Females get along alot better than males.
So i would go with getting another female she will have to kept away from the others for about a week just to make sure she is healthy and then introduce her slowly to the others but usually you wont get any problems although they will have a few squabbles to establish who is the top bird.

Good luck and please let us know what you decide.
