Saturday morning she had a little blood in her urine. So we head to the vet's. The vet gave her antibiotics and told me to bring her back today for a bladder x-ray. Well, seems she has a kidney stone and not bladder stones. He said that's rare and harder to treat. She's now on s/d food and to be re-x-rayed in a month.

Anybody have any experience with kidney stones in dogs??

He said they're not painful if in the kidney. Only if it moves to the ureter. And yes, if she were human she would have lithotripsy. But that's not done on animals--yet.
