bugies been hached

My Budgie just hached an egg do i leave the mum and dad to look after it and do i give them any diffrent food.

 

Hi congratulations on the chick there is no need to interfere with the chick the parents look after them.

The parents can still have there normal seed i also put soft foods in such as boiled eggs mashed up with the shell, boiled rice and pasta. also you can put a dish of egg food its made to hand feed and wean chicks you can get it from any good petstore over here in the uk its called Cede Budgie i have added a link to the site so you know what it looks like.
