Buying prescription food, help

    HI ALL!
    Long time, no talk to...I've been crazy busy with classes...whew!
    how goes everything?

    I just wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction....Keifer is on the "CD" diet and I was curious if there was somewhere I could order his food from, other than going to the vet. I checked PetMeds but I couldn't find any food.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated :) thanks!

    I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that you can only get prescription food through the vet.

    the prescription foods are created by Hills you can try their website but I'm not sure you can order it from them either - my dog is on CD also and her vet is in another town. It's a pain running down there to buy food every week. I would buy it by the case but that would be over $50 and it's hard to come up with that in one shot. I feel your pain LOL
