This is Shadow (a/k/a The Shadster, a/k/a Princess Shadow, a/k/a Li'l Miss Whiskers). Our kitty with the balding belly.

She's a cutie, but she can be a handful sometimes.....

    How Cute!

Did you take her somewhere to be pictured? Like Sears? It looks like you did, thats very bold, I respect that. Its amazing and pretty cool that she would be so cooperative and sit there perfectly for that picture like that.

    Good Job :y_the_best:

That picture was taken by a local company who travels around to stores and takes pet pictures. They were great people. They have a trailer in the parking lot, only one animal at a time, and they're great with the animals. I was shocked she sat still. She's a nervous cat. They do this all day every day, though, and she was in and out quick. I had that done about 5 years ago (give or take) and it cost me $5 for the sitting fee, but that included 1 print. Then, I got a framed and matted 11x14, 2-5'x7', 2-4x6, and a sheet of wallets, plus I bought the negative so I can do my own reprints for about $60.

We also take her every year to have her picture taken with Santa Claus. All my relatives look forward to that. The money generated goes to the local animal rescue, so it's for a good cause.

Thats very cool! I dont know that I have noticed anyone that does that around here, let me see where you are from...oh it doesnt say well anyway I think thats way cool that she sat there but like you say thats what they do so some how they know how to make cats sit for them.
