I think it varies from cat to cat, but many of them likes sweet food/candy.

My mother's cat Fox is the craziest cat I've ever met when it comes to taste in food... She absolutely loves corn... :0010: She also likes rubber bears and pretzels..! She can go crazy over something (e.g creamed rice) if she gets to lick it of a finger, but if we give it to her in a bowl on the floor she just ignores it. Stuck up cat...
Kyrre never begs for food, but will eat some of what I offer him from time to time.

I'm sure its possible but I've heard that its not as common for cats to be attracted to sweet things as it is for dogs to be. My cats don't seem to have a sweet tooth.

Hubby's first cat Kitty used to eat ice cream, pudding, cookies, cakes, pies, or any sweets including bread. Pumpkin will eat peas and carrots and corn plus yogurt. That's as sweet as it goes for her. Monty, Milo, and Rene couldn't care less for sweets.
