Can we catch cockatiel diseases?

    I was at a site that talked about catching a couple diseases...

    All I remember is hearing if he has a lime green stool you can catch salmonella??

    Are there other diseases to watch out for?

    His stool is fine, i'd just like to know to be forewarned...

    Yeah you can get Parrot fever. It starts off as a flu that turns in to numonia almost always.
