i have 4 pregnant guppies at the moment and not sure when they are ready to give birth, i know about the black spot and how big they get but still not sure when to move them into there bredding tank, at the moment i have the heaviest pregnant guppy in the tank but i am worried i will stress her out if its too early

    about the breeding tank...

you can DEFINATLY put your female guppy in the breeding tank too early! Ive been doing some research and most websites say that you should put your female in 24 hours before expected delivery. (once you noticed large tummy and dark gravid spot, it should take about 15-28 days until delivery.) guppies cannot be confined to small spaces, like the breeding tank, for long periods of time. they like space.

    hope this helps!!! :y_the_best:

good luck with all your fish,

ps- my female guppy just had 11 babies! it is SO exciting and hope you get to experiance it!!!!!!! :D
