I just realized that I haven't heard my canary sing in a long time!! He used to sing constantly. Anyone know what I can do to help him sing again? He seems happy enough, I guess. He did seem to be molting last week, or at least most of the feathers I vacuumed up were his. Could there be something wrong?

When birds go through a molt they are usually quieter than normal.

Canaries that are wanting to breed but have no mate usually go quiet too.
Alsong as he is eating and drinking and does not seem ill in anyway i would not worry to much it could be just because he going through his molt
