cat food for overweight 2 yr. old?

    Hi. I have two cats - Abby & Arnie - both are 2 yrs. old and both are overweight by about 4-5 pounds. I have been feeding both "Chicken Soup for the Cats Lovers Soul" (the 'light' formula). Is there any other good quality brand that I can feed them? I go to the pet store and of course, they recommend "everything" - which doesnt help me! :) Any suggestions?

    Chicken Soup is a good brand, is there any reason you're looking to switch brands?
    When fed properly canned food is also good for weight loss.

    Chicken Soup made your kitties overweight? I've been feeding my kitties that and they've never been overweight. Are you letting them free feed or do to they have a certain time they eat?
