    HELP!
my 2 male cats keep fighting!!! they are 7yr old brothers and just recently wont leave each other alone, my partner and i keep being woken in the night because of it too. we thought it might be because we have had them on a diet for the last few months and it was down to hunger but they seem to be leaving food as well. they are literally tearing each others fur out and we are worried one of thier scuffles may lead to a trip to the vet. any suggestions? thanks :D

I'm assuming they are both neutered. Have any strange cats hanging around lately that might be setting them off?
You could try putting collars w/bells on them so they can hear each other coming and avoid a confrontation.
Or if you have room keep them separate for a few days and then slowly reintroduce them to each other

    Welcome jai.

Could they be so hungry, it is affecting their behavior. Is the food they're eating agreeing with them. Maybe a visit to the Vet's would hurt. Maybe they can narrow in on the problem. Good luck with your kitties.

Welcome To the forum jai. I was going to ask too, are they both desexed????? If not there may be a female hanging around..Just a thought.
Or it could be that they dont like the food, and it is causing them irritation.
I would seperate them for a while, until they settle down..
Do they scrap through the day, or just at night when there alone together??

Maybe a trip to the vets might help, just to make sure its the right diet for them and they are not reacting to something in it..
Does it seem like they started being aggressive when they started their diet??
    Or before hand.??
