which cichlid is generally more aggressive, red devil or flowerhorn? my red devil has been chasing around my flowerhorn a bit and i was wondering if this is because the fh is about half a cm smaller? when these fish get bigger will the fh be able to fight back or defend its self better?

I think it's pretty close, but my vote would probably be for RD's being more aggressive. And chances are, if they're fighting now, it's most likely going to get worse.

If the red devil was chasing the flowerhorn then the red devil is proabley more aggresive and likly when the get bigger it will just get worse.

k i put 10 goldfish in the tank, all about 1.5-2 times bigger then both cichlids and the aggression has stopped. from what ive seen both cichlids haven't even touched the gold fish. Also if i were to get a 55 gallon tank, which fish should be in the 75 and which should go to the 55?

How big is the tank with that 10 gold fish and 2 cihlids?

Gold fish are extrememly messy and with 10 of them depending on their size they could easily outgrow a 75 gallon tank with 2 cichlids in them.
