    Since Cassie brought up the subject of coat/color patterns in a previous thread I thought it would make an interesting topic. :D

    Check out this link:

    http://www.fanciers.com/other-faqs/colo ... mon_colors
    Tiddy - solid blue
    Bean - brown mackerel tabby
    Hoggle - blue spotted tabby
    Rhiannon - tortie/seal point (her face has tortie points and her one back paw but the other 3 paws and her tail are seal point :? )
    Chieve - solid blue
    Belladonna - black & white tuxedo
    Richie - black & white harlequin

    Interesting, I have 3 "blue" cats but they are all different shades. Tiddy is the darkest, Chieve is lighter than Tiddy and Hoggle is lighter than Chieve.

    Yoda-"Solid black" with a half dollar size "button" on his belly

    Cubby-"Solid black" (with scattered grey hairs) and he does "rust" in the sunlight.

    Wrigley-"harlequin" (ohh...I like that description)

    Kyttyn-"tuxedo cat"

    Thanks Nern! That was fun!

    Oh my...
    Goliath (easy) is definitely a 'van';
    Simon is a solid white;
    Puck is a red mackerel tabby;
    Tigger red classic tabby;
    Molly's a brown spotted tabby;
    Whiskey?? Hmmm...that one I'll have to work on. lol.

    Aren't kittycats smart? They know JUST what colors to grow! :)

    Well, Pudcat is easy he is Red and White bi-colour.

    Fudgie is a bit more difficult he is suppose to be a solid cream - that is what his pedigree says anyway, but he has stripy legs and tiny faint blue/grey stripes on his head and back :D
    (His Dad is solid blue and his Mum is Blue & Cream)

    Aoisha - Grey White Bi-Color
    Molly - Diluted Calico

    Interesting facts about those cats having one eye yellow and the other eye blue. My granparent's cat (White Persian) has one eye yellow and the other eye is split right down the middle half blue and half yellow. It's awesome looking. I'll have to see if I can find a picture....

    Let's see. I'll guess what Mittens and Socks are.

    Maybe Mittens is a semi-long hair gray Tabby but she is also gray with white markings so could she be partly the one that says a Cat with white markings?
    Maybe she is both.

    and my long haired mostly black Socks is probably under Cat with white markings.
