Condo Update, its been a month

Well its been over a month now and I have not recieved any further letters from my condo corp regarding our cats. Cleo is finally starting to calm down a bit and we notice she only really crys for us now when someone is not in the room with her. I think she might carry this insecurity for the rest of her life. Being abandoned by her last family may have created this behavoir.


Does anyone have an experience with havin their cats take favoriites? Cleo will only climb onto my wife's lap and she will only sleep beside her. Amaretto will do the same with myself.

that's good news...and who knows why cats pick "their" people. My cats all picked me LOL but our foster kitty, Cleo, adores my hubby (makes him feel wanted).

 

Pumpkin used to be all over me until I got pregnant. She ditched me for hubby when my belly got too big and she couldn't comfortably lie on me. She'd roll off my belly and get all riled up. :roll: Rene preferrs hubby when we are both home but will choose me as her lap person all day long if he's not around. The boys Monty and Milo like the both of us equally. :mrgreen:

 

Tiddy seems to prefer my roommate to me . Chieve seems to favor me...follows me everywhere. The others don't seem to have a favorite person.

 

Harley and Simba both have chosen myself over hubby. Harley will lay with hubby if I am not home. Kinders on the other hand........only likes the girls. Hates myself and hubby but the kids can do what they want to her and she loves it. Sleeps on their beds, follows them everywhere. Hubby or I even look at her, she is gone. Weird cat!! :wink:

 

Booger will curl up on only my lap and sleep with only me. This kinda hurts hubby's feelings. He'll get into bed and call for her but she won't come. As soon as I go to bed, she's in there before I can even turn the light off. But then she lights up like a christmas tree the minute he walks in the door (he's a trucker...ie: lorry driver) so he's only home a couple days a week. And he loves to get down on the floor and play hard with her. So I think she's bonded with me because we're alone together most of the time, and she's excited to see him when he comes home because he's her play buddy.

 

*giggles* Lex has always been a growth on my lap when i'm sitting in the living room or whatever, and Raz is always in the same room as me.- always it's weird lol

but then again, hubby doesnt lay the love on them like i do... he grew up seeing animals as nothing special coz they were all over the place.

i see them as little childern- even better hehe and treat them as such.
