Hey everyone.. Well I think I may have come up with a temporary idea until I can afford to buy or make a bigger cage,,, I have 2 identical cages that are sitting side by side... I was thinking of getting a 180' Bend like 3" diameter hampster tunnel.. and secure it between the 2 doors... Would this be a good idea? Do you think hte birds would go through it to visit eachother that way they still kinda have their own cages,,, Thanks for any input.

I do not think they will go through a tube but i suppose if you did it so it was square or the same shape as the door and you chased the birds through from one cage to the other and then back again they would get used to going through it.

But chances of them using it is slim but birds are good at proving there owners wrong heheheheheh.

Let us know if it works.

If they don't figure it out, maybe you can face the cages toward each other so the tunnel would be straight? Might be hard to access the doors for food and stuff that way. Errrrr, and the trays. Ummm, never mind. :)

No I think you have a good idea and I have been thinking about it myself.. because the cage part seperates from the bottom so I could make the trays face outwards as well as the bottom doors.. so acsessing shouldnt be a problem... and I agree the straight tube should be easy for them to figure out.. especially if it is a see through tube.. and it would be just as easy to remove it and have them isolated again.. hmm I think im gonna try it tommorow!! Will keep you guys updated!
    Thanks for te input!
