My mother and I are not sure what exactly is wrong with her bird. It's a female canary that she's had for....around 5 or 6 months. Before she was active like all her other birds, but for the past couple months she's been inactive and occasionally sitting on the bottom of her cage. She eats and drinks fine....but she just seems like something is wrong with her. She does have an overgrown beak that my mother has to take care of every once in awhile. Now we noticed she's missing a few feathers around her eyes and the top of her upper beak looks dark. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Thanks for any and all info!!
