could this ever happen

i recently emailed a local politician about remarks published in a local paper. this guy wants pitbulls totally wiped out and said one of the reasons he held this opinion was because he knew of a couple who owned a pitbull and cattledog. they went away for a day and a half and left dogs unattended. neighbours ring and complain about a dogfight. council workers show up and only find the pitbull with no trace of cattledog. they take pitbull to the pound where owners show up. Dog supposedly then vomits up remains of cattledog.
to me this sounds very exaggerated or completely made up. honestly i have never heard of a pitbull eating another dog. and is it actually possible. doesnt it take a wild cat longer to consume an animal than one and a half days. this guy also insinuated that i was a bad mother because i have a pitbull. he got me cranky. and we have morons like this in charge of our towns.

 

The only time I have ever heard of a dog eating another dog is when there have been confined dogs, neglected and starving to death. They will eat the carcass of another dog if it dies or is killed. A starving dog will try to eat dirt, sticks, or leaves even.

That might have been the case with the pit bull and the cattledog. But if it is, the story has certainly been embellished to make it more sensational. Sort of like "Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf."

I mean really, NO TRACE?!?! There would still be fur and bone present even if the dog was eating on the carcass.

Write an letter to the Editor of your local newspaper and say how rediculous and false his allegations are. Maybe he would do better writing stories with Stephen King.

Also, council people every where across the country are coming down with the "moron" disease. All I can say to that is, VOTE VOTE VOTE them out of office.
