could i keep a freshwater butterfly fish with my 5in crayfish?
it would be a 15g tank that they would live in.

as comaptibility goes i dont see why not...crayfish stay on the bottom and butterfly fish stay at the edge of the water.i odnt know about the sizes though...have t_chelle comment on that part.

The possibility of the crayfish eating the butterfly fish is somewhat lessened becuase they occupy opposite areas of the tank, but it's still possible that the butterfly will become a snack.

And a 15 gallon should be fine for the butterfly, but I'm not sure how much waste crayfish produce. With both, it could be too much bioload; but I'm not entirely sure.
