Is there anyone out there who could please post what you feed your budgie every day? Including any possible suppliments in the water... I am just curous what I am going to be working twords in time... My girl is finnaly eating seed with ease so I am going to start workin on the veggies while it is early./.. just curious how you go about doin it.. last night i put some in and obviously she didnt touch them, I dont expect her to eat them right away but I dont want to waste too much food either so just a grape or 2 every night? thanks

As I am sitting here I keep reading how important the budiges diet is and how it gets a well rounded diet... on the other hand I am also reading how it takes up to a year to get your budgie to eat veggies and fruits etc... so for that period it takes to make them eat do you feed them some sort of nutrients in their water or do they kinda just make due for that year??

Hi a good quality seed food is usually good enough to keep your bird healthy.
With females they should also have cuttl;efish and mineral blocks attached to the cage to give them extra calcium and minerals.

I started off putting fresh fruit and vegtables hanging in the cage everyday and my birds evetually take to them.

I never put anything in there water as it can sometimes make the water taste funny to the bird and can stop them from drinking..
