Day 6 Bird Still Not Active????

Hi people.. Sorry if I am posting too many questions if I am just let me know and I will try to stop haha.. sorry it is just my personality I love to be fully informed about things... but anyways my white budgie has been home for 6 days now... she is eating and i am prettty sure drinking... once and a while if I have a few people over and we are talking she will start chirping.. otherwise when I am home alone and I do talk to her often as well she doesnt say a thing and just sits in one spot. maybe 5 times I have seen her fly down and half ass play with a toy... I realize it is still early but exactly how active do budgies accually get when they are full blown happy? Should they be always doin something unless their sleeping? Thanks a lot for everyone and their patience!!

it took awhile for Tweety and Buster to settle in, altough buster is still settleing in, hes really shy, so maybe since when you have people over and shes talking shes asking for attention, and when you dont have people over she doesnt need to ask for it.

 

Good point.. thanks for the input.. I guess im just expecting her to be more active then normal..

 

Sometimes its just their personalities. Buster looks at me like I'm the weirdest bird he's ever seen when I try to "talk" to him and Kiwi will fly up to the door and try to open it so he can play.

Somedays my birds will ust be contented to sit on their perches and eat and drink. Other days they get so happy they can't control themselves.

Since it's only her sixth day she probably still adjusting.

 

give it time some times it takes up to 2 weeks befor a bird settles in
